Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

Implementation was seamless, all we had to do was install the TeamViewer application on all the computers and upload the licensing information. Rest was taken care of automatically by the TeamViewer application itself. A bit of a learning curve for the employees to use all the features of the TeamViewer but it's not mindboggling to any extent.
We have been using TeamViewer since the Pandemic and we are one of the happy customers. We do our standup and daily sync-up calls through TeamViewer and works very satisfactorily. We not only use this tool for our internal tech teams but also with our non-tech teams to resolve their laptop and other software issues by remotely controlling their machines. Our sales team uses this for talking to customers and potential clients as well.
  • Seemless communication which includes chat, call, video and more
  • Access and take control of the remote laptops and computers to resolve issues.
  • Augmented Reality is helpful in certain cases like resolving hardware issues, cabling etc.
  • While using Augmented Reality, sometimes the lines that we draw has lag on the other side.
  • Video calls do get hung sometimes, it was not due to network something on the software side.
  • Chat could get more friendly GIFs and emojis.
  • Synchronization between remote and distributed teams increased the productivity
  • It avoids in-person visits to remote offices to troubleshoot issues saving travel costs.
  • Sales calls are seamless and increase customer satisfaction and increases business productivity.
It was instantaneous in bringing economic benefits because of savings in travel, team synchronization and business meetings.
  • Zoom
It's very close, when we did the evaluation TeamViewer was very similar to Zoom but glad we chose TeamViewer. We use the Augmented Reality feature quite a bit now in troubleshooting hardware issues remotely which I am not sure is available in other products. Cost-wise its very similar to other platforms as well found to be slightly cheaper than Zoom.

Do you think TeamViewer delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with TeamViewer's feature set?

Yes

Did TeamViewer live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of TeamViewer go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy TeamViewer again?

Yes

We are not HIPPA or SOC2 compliant, but we use two-factor authentication using soft tokens. This is one of the best features in keeping the systems secure. We are trying to use single-sign-on (SSO) feature using Okta, but we are not there yet.
It is well suited if the team members work remotely and need constant collaboration and communication throughout the development cycle. It is so helpful for Systems Engineers in the Software industry to resolve laptop and computer issues. It is also helpful for troubleshooting hardware issues like printers, scanners, server racks, and more.
It is less suited if the teams are small and no remote access or group calls are needed, they could very well use telephones and mobile phones.
