Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

  • TeamViewer is a remote PC support/control and screen-sharing tool, and is very easy to install, setup and use it with very minimal training. It solved the problem of having help desk personal at remote sites and we were able to centralize our help desk.
  • Our help desk uses this tool for remote support for employees located at various branches around the country or around the world, to help with their PC issues.
  • The tool is free when used for private use and can help troubleshoot the issues or help train family members on new software or help the elderly who are not so tech savy with their PCs. I did use this a few times to help my parents with their computer and help install new software or upgrade existing software, and was able to send them the download link using the email. They were able to install it with ease and provided me the login details for me to remote login.
  • Did not come across anything so far. The product does what it's designed to do very well indeed.
  • I think by remote supporting users at various branches or sites, it did eliminate the need for help desk personal to be located physically at each of the locations. We were able to centralize our help desk.
  • We saved the cost of hiring 3 to 4 help desk personnel.
Teamviewer can also be used for screen-sharing. We have used it for training users remotely, eliminating the need for traveling to sites to train users which helped keep costs down.

Using TeamViewer

The software has helped us reduce costs significantly within help desk, and the user experience was also very good. Our help desk team will continue to use this for supporting remote users.
