Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO BusinessWorks
TIBCO BusinessWorks is used by our group to develop an Enterprise Service Bus for several customers. For complete integration we also use other products in the TIBCO suite such as TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Hawk, TIBCO Rv and so on. We have not had many business problems, although sometimes we have experienced technical problems, but with good support they were resolved quickly.

- Fast deployment and managing applications
- TIBCO supports many communication protocols
- WS-* can be improved
- Deployment from designer should be possible

Training is foundamental in our job. My company organize sessions in which all professionals toghether share their knowledge about Tibco product.
In the last period we focus our attention on last version 6.*, because many customer are using this version and its plug-ins. So it is very important a strong training to understand the difference between version 5.* and 6.*

- Itself and with its adapters cover all possible integration issues
This tool is very easy to learn, Even a junior can start working with minimum technical expertise. With version 6.*, integrated in a customized eclipse, is very simple create WS and also complex processes with drag and drop of activity and resource.

Mapping, using Mapper palette, XPATH and XSLT is easy and efficient.
You have the possibility to modify directly the xslt source or copy it in another activity.

Tester is bundled in the designer, so it makes it very fast to follow the flow and solve problems (in a single process or more than one). For and End to End integration it is better to deploy the application in a test environment.
Oracle ESB or Mule ESB are its competitor but I have no experience on it.
There are also many open source products but they are not used so much in big enterprise, maybe because of poor support.

Tibco is the best suite for integration. Business Work are on the market for many years so with this product is possible to solve any problem, now with version 6* it is also microservice oriented. Maybe with other product open source a company can safe money but there isn't he excellent support of tibco and its expertise
Only if there will be a product with the same features, the same support, the same maturity with lower price

Yes - in the 6.* version there was an error using orai18n.jar library, because the oracle-driver tool doesn't install it correctly.
The support study this case and give us the solution in 1 month.

We had many problems due difference between adapter (DB, SAP) and plug-in, but tibco support solve different issue very fast.
