Overall Satisfaction with Trello

Trello is a great way to track workflows across numerous projects. It is currently being used by multiple departments and is helping us reduce the use of email. By creating templates for similar projects, it also makes it easy to kick start a project and great to add to the templates when something comes up in a new project that you hadn't thought of before.

  • Assigning tasks to the right people
  • Would be good to see if there was a way to see whether a card had at least been read, even if not completed
  • Could do with recognising internal links to work folders when the asset is over the upload limit.
  • Or could create a "wetransfer" zip if you tried to upload something that was bigger then allowance.
  • Reduced use of email
  • Good integration with Slack so conversations are able to be tracked too
  • Lessons learnt are easy to update within projects
Having used Basecamp for years, I was pleasantly surprised with Trello and how user-friendly it was. It was easier to introduce into current workflows and with users that had not used workflow tools previously. Basecamp is slightly more simple in its approach and integration with other tools. Definitely prefer Trello.
Can be used for projects with multiple or single inputs. Great way of putting a workflow list together and working through the necessary tasks without having to send numerous emails and then try and assess what has/hasn't been done. Also great way of tracking rounds of amends when you create separate cards with client amends and able to then supply this back if questions regarding tracking.
