Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

Payroll, benefits, and compliance in multi-state environment. The product addresses our ability to offer strong benefits to employees and the ability to complete a multi-state payroll with ease, without having to worry about multi-state tax registrations. We're extremely distributed, so TriNet is able to handle all payroll, benefits, and compliance concerns with ease.

  • I'd like to see them offer an ASO (Administrative Services Only) model for clients moving away from a PEO (professional employer organization).
  • Workday integration.
  • Lack of integration with workday makes certain reporting in publicly traded organizations difficult if they use other HCMs.

  • Compliance is great!
TriNet's systems are super user friendly and straight forward. They give you a step by step for basically everything you could need to do on both the employer and employee side. Their reporting/analytics could be a bit easier to use, but I believe they have been working towards improving that particular feature.
TriNet is super responsive. We have a dedicated support specialist who always responds in a timely manner and provides resources, tips, and support when needed. There have been times in which I was less than impressed with their service, but overall, the positive interactions outweigh any negative interactions.
TriNet has a variety of resources regarding COVID-19.

TriNet is great, but their fees are very high and there are solutions out there that are less expensive. Once you reach a certain number of employees, PEOs are necessarily the best option, especially due to the cost.
