Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers
I was looking to upgrade my infrastructure and receiving quotes from various hyper-converged solutions. When dealing with the salesmen every product sounds amazing. I came to TrustRadius to see reviews submitted by actual people who have implemented these solutions. This kind of information can be very helpful in making a purchasing decision.

- To find evidence to support my recommendation to colleagues or my client
- To see what other users think of the product I am currently using
I was sent to the site by Scale technology. They were a company I was considering. This was a place I could validate what they told me along with gathering more information and better understanding of what obstacles I might run in to. Once you have this info you can return to the vendor and figure out solutions to any problems you see.
The reviews that are the most valuable to me are from users in a business setting that is as close to mine as possible. These give me a real world view of what to expect if I were to use the product. It also gives you a view of someone who is using the product instead of someone who is making money from selling the product.
Having reviews is a great resource when making a decision that impacts a lot of users and costs a lot of money. Having access to reviews gives you a better chance of making the best decision and not having buyer's remorse.

- I have not used the site for a long time so I do not have much to complain about. I was able to find what I needed.
I use Google to look for reviews as well and sometimes it is hard to identify a good user review from a vendor or paid review. I like using Spiceworks as well. The reviews here [on TrustRadius] seem to reflect a lot of the same opinions I will find there.
I can only say that this site has more reviews in one location from many different users. It is easier than having to go to separate sites to read one review at a time.
