Overall Satisfaction with Twilio

We use Twilio to send personalized marketing messages or promotions directly to customers' phones via SMS or WhatsApp. This help in increasing engagement and keeping the customers informed about new features and offers that they may want to take advantage of.

In addition, it helps us drive sales while at the same time keeping a pulse on what sort of products/services our customers might want to see next.
  • Marketing and Promotions
  • Chatbots for Customer Service
  • Transactional Emails
  • Pricing Transparency and Simplicity
  • Documentation and Developer Support:
  • Customer Support for All Tiers
  • SMS helped us reach customers in a new way
  • Appointment reminders helped in reminding both us and customers for calls.
  • Voice and video calls are helpful for customer support.
Not quite sure what is meant by channels here.

We use primarily marketing and promotions functions with SMS/WhatsAp, Chatbots to handle common FAQs, transactional emails for the common features like welcome emails, order confirmations, password resets to ensure we are in touch with our customers.

Looking to bring in SMS surveys but haven't gotten to that yet.
This is the same question as the last question.

It just made things easier because instead of having to do all that stuff in house, we can just outsource and pay for it allowing us to focus on what we are good at.

When scaling, you have to decide what you need to do and what you can outsource.

We can outsource SMS/Transactional emails, so we did.
We never really had any problems.

And if there were problems, we can reliably get an update from Twilio to relay to our customers about the issues at hand.

So far, we didn't really receive any damage from Twilio being down and if it is down, our customers are usually understanding about it.
We've only used Twilio.

Do you think Twilio delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Twilio's feature set?

Did Twilio live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Twilio go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Twilio again?

Yes

Twilio is more suited if you have a running business making serious money.

If you are a startup, then it might not be needed. It might be considered too expensive of an option.

If you want to keep the pulse with your customers and stay top of mind with an easy place for SMS and transactional emails, Twilio is a good recommendation.
