Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using UKG Pro for Payroll Processing and Human Resource Management System for all of our employee data.

Pros and Cons

Training - pretty much an unlimited amount of training is available at any time.

Service - in the 5 months we have been with UKG the service could be improved upon. I hear nothing after weeks of having a case open and have addressed this concern and nothing has changed.
Lots of reporting is available especially through Business Intelligence, but it hard to learn how to create and modify reports even after taking the courses available.
A print preview button on a unprocessed payroll would be great.

Return on Investment

Nothing as of yet. We are basically side by side as how we were before. I believe that once we get all of our kinks worked out that it will be a huge time saver for us.
Much more capability of what can be tracked and handled through the system that our prior vendor. Much for us to grow into.

Alternatives Considered

Paychex Flex, Paycor, Paylocity and ADP Workforce Now

We felt that the service was going to be a huge improvement from what we were dealing with prior. The capability of the system and the things that we can customize and track was definitely more than what we saw with the other systems we were looking at and currently used. The site is easy to navigate but professional looking at the same time.

Performance

Reports even with a lot of data finish quickly. I am never waiting around for one to finish. Never have a problem with the site being down or not loading. Calculating payroll is fairly fast as well.

Support Rating

Much to be desired here. Have not had a good experience with support. Cases stay open with no updates for weeks and I have to follow up. Multiple emails have to be sent to our rep's and still lack follow up once we do connect.

Likelihood to Recommend

UKG Pro definitely has the capability to be able to do so much whether you have 100 employees or thousands of employees. You can track pretty much anything you would need to for employees. From IT equipment to employee certifications. Payroll processing is very easy to learn and navigate through.
One of the biggest down sides is that I feel that implementation left behind some things that should have been done beforehand. COVID earnings/credits with our prior processor were not looked into with full detail and caused some issues at year end. We are still waiting for file feeds to be set up and had to reach out numerous times to get the process going on those. 1095 data is not being accurately tracked we found out as a piece was never set up, so again, found that out while trying to approve them to be printed.

Still new... Lots to be desired still...
