Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)
UKG Pro is our global HRIS system. UKG Pro meets all of our global HRIS needs, including, but not limited to:
- Maintaining employee personal and job information.
- Updating information and tracking changes.
- Onboarding.
- Hourly time tracking.
- Time off tracking.
- Performance Management process.
- Employee File Management (secure, permissions-based employee file retention and sharing).
- Processing US Payroll.
- Customizes employee profile fields based on standards in employee's country.
- Customer support is outstanding.
- Allows customers to Share Ideas, which are often included in updates.
- Software comes with over 200 ready-to-use workflows.
- I'd like to see faster implementation of Shared Ideas from customers.
- Workforce Management needs a massive overhaul or needs to be replaced with a new product.
- Time Savings - HRIS and US and Canada Payroll in one product eliminates the need for double entry.
- Information Sharing is easy - Workflow system allows a lot of customization, including logic-based behaviors, ability to target notification recipients based on workflow type and customization of notifications.
- Cost Savings - Price is comparable to less-efficient systems so spending about the same amount gets you a vastly superior product.
UKG Pro vastly outperforms ADP and Namely in several areas:
- Ease of use.
- Help documentation that is actually helpful.
- Support Tickets are routed to the appropriate subject matter experts so you get the right answer the first time.
- UKG Pro is a holistic system and all areas are equally supported and functional. UKG Pro does all things well, whereas ADP and Namely did one or two things well and the rest of the functionality was sub-par.
UKG always provides exceptional support and I can't think of a specific time that stands out. However, everyone I've interacted with in support clearly LOVES working for UKG and many are happy to tell you about it when you're on a call and waiting a couple of minutes for a process to complete. Companies that make their employees happy tend to make their customers happy too.
I generally felt bad for the ADP support reps I spoke with and would never consider working for ADP. If UKG offered me a job I'm pretty sure I'd accept.
