Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

Webex Meetings by Cisco is the preferred platform for collaborating internally by CDW's collaboration specialists. It is also vastly used by the organization as a whole to connect a 10,000-person hybrid workforce.

Pros

  • Background noise reduction.
  • Meeting transcripts and highlights.
  • Provides user-friendly feature-function options that reveal themselves when hovering and that don't clutter the video and presentation.

Cons

  • Build out more feature-functions (like chat or Slido) for end users joining on devices.
  • Webex Meetings has allowed me to liven up everyday meetings with immersive sharing and use of backgrounds, helping to create conversation about the Webex platform and products that can help me win mindshare from my collaboration specialists.

Webex Meetings is the premier stand-alone collaboration platform for messaging, meetings, calling, events, and polling. Also, the Webex Meetings integration into other platforms like Microsoft makes it stand out as most suitable because of it's flexibility to work with other platforms seamlessly. Maybe Webex doesn't have the branding, look, or feel to oust more trendy competitors at the home-use level, but it should be considered the premier option for meetings -- from single-license needs to enterprise deployments.

Webex Meetings Reliability

Webex [Meetings] has always been there for me when needed.
I left room for a perfect score here because of a couple of things. Webex Control Hub's outputs, like reports, could possibly be faster. Virtual backgrounds will not display regularly on laptops because of it taxes the CPU too severely.
