Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses
Webexpenses is used for reclaiming of business expenses across the whole organization. It offers a centralized solution for all business related claims, which is automated, accessible via any device at any time, offering convenience and efficiency for all users. It has been in place for 11 years and is well liked by both those claiming expenses, and those approving them.
- 24/7 accessibility across any device with an internet connection.
- User friendly and intuitive interface.
- Historical claims are kept allowing for easy review.
- As an approver once you approve a claim it is no longer accessible, which makes any requirement for later audit difficult.
- No way manually of prompting the approver that you have a claim outstanding.
- No analytical tools - e.g. you can't see how much your "team" have spent business mileage/any other specific category.
- Saved time.
- Reduced errors and hence associated time and costs.
- Allows for a standard platform for processing payments.
Prior to the introduction of Webexpenses to the business in 2011, all claims were submitted via a printing out a standardized form (and when i say standardized there were up-teen versions!) and then that would need to be physically signed by the approver and then posted to the accounts payable. This was time consuming, often delayed payments to staff, and it was not uncommon for errors to be found in the final claim amount. All of this has been removed by Webexpenses which has saved time, money and hassle.
I have not used Concur so I can't comment on how it compares to Webexpenses, but I know it is regarded as a leader in this space. However, I can't imagine it offers anything more that you would require.
