Overall Satisfaction with WebPT

WebPT provides our clinic with a superior scheduling system compared to our previous EMR. The solutions provided by WebPT to our clinic scheduling and tracking of patient visits alone were worth the change in systems. Having a documentation system that is created by PTs for PTs was another important consideration when selecting new outpatient EMR for our clinic. WebPT's documentation system has improved ease with point of care documentation and provided peace of mind that we are completing all legal requirements with our therapists' documentation.

We are a critical access hospital within a larger health system, so we do not utilize the entire WebPT product offerings. WebPT EMR and scheduler are the only components we are able to use. If there would be an opportunity in the future, our staff would pursue utilizing the billing cycle services through WebPT as their other services have been excellent.
We have not utilized this piece specifically. We do pay close attention to the notifications for progress/recent notes needed and appreciate the function of that tracking within our documentation and schedule system. Knowing when specific notes are due is a tremendous improvement from our previous system and an asset that allows peace of mind to therapists.

WebPT is an excellent outpatient documentation system. For a critical access hospital, it has made a significant difference in our ability to efficiently schedule patients and perform documentation. The only drawback for our setting is that our company was not able to cover the cost of integration of the system into our overall EMR system. Our main EMR system is set up for inpatient services, so WebPT was a breath of fresh air to our therapists who were experiencing a heavy demand with paperwork but were unable to connect all the dots of tracking patient visits, recertification dates, and communicating with providers. WebPT has met those needs and provided much more with their analytics and tracking services. The quality of our documentation has improved with WebPT templates and carry over of notes. Communication between therapists/staff has also improved with better quality and more efficient documentation.
