Overall Satisfaction with WebPT

We use WebPT as our EMR, schedule, billing, REACH program, as well as EBV and HEP.
WebPT is a one stop shop for all of our business needs. We have six locations and WebPT allows us to have one application/software for all of the functions of our business.
  • Customer service- the online chat function has been extremely helpful when needing assistance in a pinch
  • Analytics- the REACH program is a great tool
  • Billing software is easy to use
  • The EBV is not always correct and we do feel we have to still run some of our own benefits
  • Overall customer service is good, however we have run into some issues with the billing customer service both with patients and with the business side. Patient customer service is lacking and will not handle issues completely or give incorrect info- so these issues have tricked back into our office
  • The EMR is not always intuitive.
I do think that the functionality of WebPT has helped the patient experience. From the online intake paperwork, to digital HEPs, REACH interactions and billing functions- not to mention the follow ups patients will receive automatically from our practice- the patient is continuously being touched by some application of WebPT. It allows us to focus on more patient satisfaction and involvement.
Since I have worked for my company we have used WebPT. However, we did use Kareo Medical Billing and although it is a fine application- it is nice to have the EMR and Billing combined.

I think WebPT is a great program for physical therapy offices. But, I do think they should work on a more intuitive EMR. Some small items that made it easier to input patients were removed from the site. Billing should really work on their customer service and patient interactions. Otherwise, the scheduling is easy to use.
But somethings are really a nice option- REACH is super beneficial. We love the idea of the online intake forms- however, this function has its own bugs and does not send to returning IEs only new IEs. When speaking to customer service- they want patient ID numbers to check into accounts- we wish they would take the time to realize it is affecting ALL returning patient IE's and that in itself should be enough to research. When the online intake forms send- they are a great option for our patients. The billing website is easy to use and the information available is helpful from an admin standpoint.
It would be nice to have a chat function between staff members- almost like an instant message system. This would allow us to communicate to our staff in a quick way- but also helpful for us that have multiple offices.
