Overall Satisfaction with Workday Adaptive Planning

Workday adaptive planning helps manage business of all sizes by providing analytical insights, forecasts and reports that help take business decisions with ease. It does not depend on shifting business needs or use of legacy software's and provides help in complex planning. One can track EBITA, growth, performance and other key performance metrics and is easy to integrate with CRM, ERP and BI solutions.

  • It helps in scenario modeling to help analyze various business events and report by any number of business dimensions including channel, customer or product
  • It can be integrated with any system including ERP, BI or CRM

  • For complex KPI, it takes times in case the dataset is huge and can lead to business disruptions if not done in real time
  • It cannot be shared with new individuals or stakeholders who were not initially added to a particular plan
  • Plans cannot be shared easily over mail and require third party integrations

Yes, it has provides a more streamlined and automated approach to business processes as it ensures structured planning, sharing of deep business critical insights. It allows various financial and non-financial users to collaborate and be involved in planning process, support operations and sales team by helping control their models, processes, dashboard and reporting.
It is very intuitive, does not require any formal training and is easy to use for any new user. It allows dashboard style view of all metrics and pivot tables to add or remove any metric. One can create new custom metrics and do not need to add any code for it and automatically get it calculated through AI and ML algorithms. Overall, its usability is well defined and easy.
Workday provides adaptive and intuitive planning that does not has disruptions when there is any change in system or migrations of servers, users or systems. Workday integrates with CRM, ERP and other database engines to source data and provides insights that can be exported to other documents. It provides real time insights by brining together operations, financial planning and workforce planning.
