Overall Satisfaction with WorkForce Suite
WorkForce is utilized by my company for timekeeping. It has addressed and fixed an issue with the prior system we used called "Deputy", that did not keep track of any time off allocations, so employees had to do math to ensure that they coded time off correctly and that they had enough. I manage a team of 18 employees and audit timesheets, while working with other managers when they have issues with the system.
Pros
- Scheduling can be made simple with pre-made templates
- Tracking time off balances accurately
- If a mistake is made, fixing timesheets is simple
Cons
- The UI is NOT user-friendly, whether on mobile app or desktop
- When availability changes are made, these can take a long time to be reflected on WorkForce
- Timekeeping
- Payroll
- Accurate, conmprehensive documentation of time off balances
- While the implementation took a while, it runs smoothly and makes payroll processing quick, easy, and efficient.
- Deputy
Deputy was a LOT easier to use, and I personally liked it more. It did not make approving payroll at the end of the week as easy as WorkForce, and Deputy did not show any PTO balances. Deputy seemed like a simpler, less in-depth version of WorkForce. Personally, I would prefer Deputy, but a lot of my colleagues disagree
