Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

We're a digital marketing agency and manage dozens of social networks accounts for our clients. The usual day of work for us it's full of small tasks, so it's important not to miss anything. With Wrike we can keep control and manage the high number of tasks with precision, it's easy to know who is responsible for what and establish a workflow that's clear for everyone involved in a task or project. We love the approval and proffing functionaly and use it specially with our clients, so they can make anottations on creatives posts and the task go back directly to the designer, for example.

Pros

  • Create really personalized tasks and projects with custom fields.
  • Inform how much each team member worked hour costs, and with time tracking you get real time reports for costs and risk management.
  • Create different workflows for tasks helps eliminated the need to create hundreds of subtasks.
  • Invite clients to collaborate and approve assets.
  • Love the request forms functionality.

Cons

  • The Zapier integration has only a few options/possibilities
  • Disk quota (for uploaded files) management
  • Create a task is fast and easy, and you can add info to it gradually.
  • The many "views" for tasks, like Gantt Chart, table and list view.
  • The custom workflows that let you pre-define users assigned to each stage.
  • The approval and proofing functionality
  • Help to save a lot of time that would be wasted with repetitive and boring tasks like email assets to clients and much more.
  • Provide a clear vision of tasks and projects.
  • Makes our company and team more productive.
Wrike’s AI and automation streamline repetitive tasks and improve team collaboration. For instance, I’ve used automation rules to handle task assignments and status changes based on triggers like due dates or project stages. This has significantly reduced manual updates and helped ensure nothing falls through the cracks. The AI Work Intelligence suggestions have also been helpful for prioritizing tasks and spotting potential bottlenecks in ongoing projects. While still refining how to best incorporate these tools into our workflows, I can already see a lot of improvement in project timelines.
I gave Wrike a 10 because it truly simplifies managing complex workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Features like custom workflows, automation rules, and dashboards are easy to set up and incredibly effective at keeping projects organized and on track. The platform is flexible enough to adapt to different team needs, and its usability makes it simple for new users to get on board quickly.
I’ve used and evaluated Asana, monday.com, and Runrun.it before settling on Wrike, and here’s why I chose Wrike. While Asana and monday.com are great for simple task management and visually appealing interfaces, I found them lacking the depth of customization and scalability that Wrike offers, especially for more complex projects. Wrike’s ability to handle detailed workflows, integrate with other tools, and provide a bird’s-eye view through dashboards really stood out.

Wrike is really complete, it offers most functionalities you will ever need to do projects and tasks management. You can create custom fields, list items in several ways/views (Gantt Chart, table, list, board, etc). It calculates team member hourly cost and provides real-time cost and risk management reports through built-in time tracking. Clients can access Wrike as "collaborators" and approve tasks with advanced comments and proof/versioning capabilities. The customizable task workflows streamline work and eliminate the need for numerous subtasks. They have invested a lot to make the interface user-friendly, so it's easy for both beginners and advanced users to navigate and make use of all its features.

Yes - It's the most rich app of this kind I've used. Wrike's app is always receiving updates and you have the capacity to do almost everything you can do on the desktop version. As it's made using native iOS and Android code/programming, is very fast and stable. It takes advantage of mobile capacities, like OCR direct from the phone camera.
