Overall Satisfaction with Zoho CRM

We recommend Zoho CRM to small businesses that don't have a difficult workflow in their sales cycle. We had used it in the past, however due to multiple workflows for different types of business that we provide, it was unable to perform to the higher level that we needed it. Zoho will work great for you if you have a simple workflow, want to have the ability to easily ramp up your understanding of how the actual product works. For instance, if you want to be able to quickly and easily administer the forms and custom fields, and even some workflow automation on your own it is pretty easy to get a grasp of. That being said, it is still important to discuss what your desired results are with a CRM professional who has a deep understanding of what the capabilities of Zoho are - you definitely don't want to get too into a product and then find out later it won't scale.
  • Drag and drop form builder - great for the do it yourself person who knows what information they want to capture.
  • UX for creating automation - sending emails, creating automated tasks, etc., This can be pretty quick to understand with Zoho.
  • No dynamic form layouts or multiple forms - watch out for this especially if you have more than one workflow and would like to have an additional type of form for the same layout. For example, if you were a graphic design companies that designs print items and websites, you would have to capture all of the information on one long form unless you were to use zoho creator which would incur additional fees.
  • Limitations on the number of custom fields! REALLY???
  • Integration with QuickBooks - doesn't really flow that well... but then again, there is integration with Zoho books, hmmmm.
  • Zoho was a great starter CRM for several businesses that we have worked with that wanted to have the ability to 'test drive' a crm platform and be on monthly billing.
  • Increased efficiency - using dashboards to keep track of your follow up activities
  • Automating processes is very simple with zoho and can help save a lot of time for sales people.
  • Workbooks,Salesforce,Sugar,Nimble
Zoho is cheaper than Salesforce and Sugar, and more robust than Nimble. It's also probably easier to use than Salesforce and Sugar for most people, and there is monthly billing rather than a year contract if that is what you are looking for.
Zoho CRM is great for small, single workflow companies. Not so good when you want to use multiple workflows and have several different forms per record types.
