LinkedIn Sales Navigator

This is also a great tool that we use for a social selling approach. I've personally had lots of success with clients not responding and reaching out through LinkedIn to spark a conversation. What really makes a difference is having a tool that helps analyze businesses and their employees. The other side of this, besides just LinkedIn, is your ability to see companies and individuals as well as send messages without a limit, therefore increasing the effectiveness and scope of the impact for your business. It doesn't always do a great job of pulling in contact data. If you're looking to bulk search individuals this isn't the tool you would want to use.

Pros

  • I liked how you can access Aeroleads on LinkedIn.
  • Very easy to use and results are accurate. User-friendly, supports bulk search, you can also import your data to be used in other tools which is really cool and helpful if you want to use your data on Aeroleads to other tools. They also have a plugin that makes finding prospects easier and adding them to your list.

  • I really like that you are able to find prospects easily and save them as contacts so you can come back to them later on.
  • Sales Navigator works with other marketing tools like Outreach so I can connect with prospects directly though the Outreach app while using Sales Navigator.
  • I have been able to set around 5-6 meetings though Sales Navigator when no other form of communication was working to connect with prospects. Since the message goes to them directly it eliminates the gatekeepers in many instances.

Cons

  • I tried to approach them for a service but AeroLeads do not accept less 300 leads for their service work. As I was looking for only less amount of leads.

  • With my current company I only have a limited amount of inMails that I can send per month (50) which limits my use of the product. I wish that I was able to have unlimited to get the full functionality.
  • One complaint I have about targeting specific types of prospects is that when you do narrow the list within a company sometimes unrelated prospects still come up in the search and you have to weed through them.
  • I wish that regular linkedIn and Sales Navigator could be linked together at least message wise so that you didn't have to remember if you sent a prospect a message through Navigator or just from being a contact.

The name "LinkedIn Sales Navigator" is synonymous with streamlining relevant customer and account data in an easy to use format that is actionable and intelligent. The focus on continuous improvement and richer means of communicating with customers and prospects is evident each time new features are rolled out. The social component of the tool even includes a gamification component to ensure that peers remain relevant among each other, which is refreshing and enjoyable for those who engage the tool on a daily basis.

There is always room for improvement, but it is an indispensable tool for any sales organization that is dedicated to their employee's success. This tool has certainly been a game changer for the past 4+ years since the standalone version became available, and each iteration and feature rollout only makes it that much more beneficial to their customer base.

The tool speaks for itself, but the support is definitely a significant portion of why we use the tool. The company cares about their customer's success and it shows. We do not have to wait for long periods of time for the support team to respond; they do so in a timely manner, and virtually always with relevant insights and solutions.

I am unsure of the rollout, as I was not involved. I was an early adopter, and I have had a lot of success with the tool personally at multiple organizations, but I have no idea whether the implementation process encountered any errors. I can personally say that it works, and that I have not encountered significant issues with the tool since adoption, although a few issues like messages showing up as being unread even though they have been opened have been an on-again/off-again issues throughout the past few years. Overall, the company is doing a great job, and our implementation seems to have been effective.

We currently also have access to Discover.Org but I prefer to use Linkedin Sales Navigator first before checking Discover.Org because for the most part LinkedIn is more up to date than even Discover.Org. Now I like Discover for different uses and normally I can't get contact information from LinkedIn but they both work together well and I wouldn't be able to be so successful in my role without Sales Navigator. I love it and highly recommend it

  • It is used by almost every one of our SDRs currently, so we are getting well worth the amount of meetings for the price we are paying.
  • We currently are buying more licenses because the product works so well. SDRs that don't have access are getting fewer meetings and have a hard time meeting their quotas.
  • When not all of the SDRs were using the product, we got licenses taken away since the solution was expensive, but luckily utilization is at an all time high right now.
