ClickUp is excellent; it has been very intense in project management, which has given us a constant follow-up of activities. It works very well, and we recognize when any project is deficient. It helps to have a lot of experience in the tasks.

Pipedrive is well suitable for Email marketing management, Customer data management, and as well as for sales forecasting. Pipedrive is the best platform for managing your all sales data, Email automation & sales reporting. If you want to do A/B testing & want to know the ROI analytics with your campaign then Pipedrive is not suitable for you. you might have to check other platforms for advanced features. If you are looking for campaign segmentation & campaign planning then you can't do it in Pipedrive. Pipedrive doesn't provide that facility to users. It is the best platform for small & medium businesses.

  • This software organizes and categorizes different projects in an excellent manner. It allows color-coding of different categories of a project as main headers with subtasks underneath
  • It allows sorting and filtration of tasks with priority. This enables the project team to work on urgent tasks first
  • It supports mass editing of projects. This is achieved through the selection of multiple project lines, changing their due date, setting their priority and performing other modifications at the same time

  • Their pipeline is super simple with drag and drop features, and a clean and clear view of your deals and deal amounts.
  • They have a great automation system that allows for tasks and emails to be sent when a stage changes.
  • They have a great note system that allows voice recording and easy phone access to manage notes while on a call.

  • List Templates - They have list templates, but the due dates get all mixed up whenever you use them. Right now you have to set specific dates and when you create the list using the template, you just set the first start date and all the other dates get moved according to that first date. However, usually I care more about the LAST due date, not the first. Also, they don't skip weekends or anything. I wish there was a way to set the due dates as "Day 1, Day 2" etc. and to have them skip weekends when they are created.
  • Sharing Settings - They've kind of fixed this but before you could only control privacy access on the space level. Now you can set it on anything, however, there isn't a way to share lists, projects, or tasks with clients without them creating a login. They are planning to have this fixed soon though
  • Documents and Files - You can easily attach files to tasks or lists, which is great. I would like it if you could also have an area where you could have files that pertain to the whole project, or the whole space, without having to be put in a specific list or task.

  • There is definitely a bit of a learning curve
  • Marketplace integrations developed by Pipedrive need some work as they're not too reliable or 'fully-featured' yet
  • It is expensive compared to alternatives and extra addons are costly even though it could be argued they should be part of the main package.

With previous tools we used, we had to conduct a fairly extensive onboarding process with any new employees we hired. ClickUp is so simple to use that we really only need a 30-minute meeting to show new employees how to use it and they're off to the races. The drag/drop function is nearly universal which makes it extremely easy to move things around and stay organized.

I give it an 8 because:
  1. It has really improved over the years and focused on the SMB marketplace. It was a very basic platform 10 years ago and I can see they listed to user feedback.
  2. I have always thought their lead tracking was one of the best. I have always loved using kanban boards for different tasks as visually it is just simple to understand.
  3. I do think sometimes it can seem a bit overwhelming with all of their features, but a good onboarding process helps this, and having a great support team helps get through all of the features to understand if they are needed or not for your company.

We evaluated several project management software and compared features but at last we settled with Clickup. Reason being, ClickUp flaunts a machine learning capability which is essential in creating accurate and realistic estimates for projects. It fuels creativity and improves team productivity which results to getting projects delivered on schedule and getting more things done.

I much prefer the interface of Pipedive when compared to Zoho. Much more user friendly and the team is always readily available when we need them. Pipedrive allowed for many custom integrations to be added, as Zoho was a tad more complicated to manipulate. We would not go back to Zoho in any case.

  • Pipedrive has had an extremely positive impact on our overall business objectives. More specifically, the return on investment has been magnified by the fact that it is fairly inexpensive.
  • I can recall 2-3 conversations which prompted my boss and myself to note how convenient Pipedrive is.
  • Like most companies, it can often feel like we are spinning many plates at once. Even when our team is not able to connect in person every day, our projects are capable of progressing. Pipedrive has allowed us to press forward where we (normally) would have lacked the communication necessary in doing so.
