Likelihood to Recommend I would highly recommend CrowdStrike Falcon to any organization serious about bolstering its cybersecurity defenses. The platform's effectiveness in threat detection, proactive mitigation, and scalability make it a valuable asset in today's ever-evolving threat landscape. Despite some learning curves and integration challenges, the return on investment and the overall security enhancement justify its strong recommendation.
Read full review For our use case we have been using it extensively for centralizing the automated backup creation per scheduled time intervals for critical datastores and servers. Designed a backup plan DR plan accordingly and have everything integrated. To have better sleep for operational overhead in the event of ransomware attack or cloud systems going down in one region, this automation tremendously helps us to get a new env running in few minutes with less manpower.
Read full review Pros The Log analysis is very detailed and easy to use. Prevent and block all type of malwares. Great threat intelligence which is very up-to-date with the recent cyber attacks very user friendly in access and management Automated feature of detecting, taking action and closing incidents using fusion workflow. Read full review We like the option of downloading backed up files both individually and as a group. The ransomware protection is a security feature that puts our minds at ease when it comes to the safety of our data. The Customer Success team does frequent reach outs and technical health checks. Read full review Cons Sometimes updates to sensor versions fail, which requires manual intervention by internal staff members The variety of different administrative privilege levels is vast and sometimes confusing Proactive notifications confirming the health of the environment would be great instead of just reporting on potential issues Read full review Advanced Ransomware Recovery doesn't work for all Druva offerings, that would be a great feature to have. The archiving feature could also offer more price flexibility. Seating up the initial configurations can be a little tedious due to the length of the documentation involved. Read full review This is the second company I've brought to Druva. Just today, I was tasked with recovering a file from a user that last saw it 6 months ago. I was able to restore it in under 5 minutes of getting the request. It's really that easy.
Read full review Usability I think it is a complete and very trustful XDR platform, with very few False Positives. It is very well supported by highly skilled professionals on all levels: from pre-sales engineers, Customer Account Managers and support engineers.
Read full review The product is easy to navigate and manage. Setup and configuration is also easy. We did not need to pay for any additional professional services. Our account team worked with use on the integration. It was not complex or difficult to learn how to setup and use. End users also have the ability to log in and manage their own files and emails
Read full review Reliability and Availability Like any service, there are scheduled maintenance periods and unscheduled outages, however outages have been very limited and fortunately have not had any impact on our environment.
Read full review Performance Page response in the admin center is acceptable- rarely are we waiting for data to load. Backup speeds seem fine, and restore speeds are OK considering it's likely pulling data from cold storage. It often takes 30-60 seconds for the restore to begin transferring files, but speeds are acceptable thereafter
Read full review Support Rating Support is generally pretty fast and gets right to the issue. We haven't had to use them much, fortunately, but the issues and questions we've had are usually answered quickly. The customer success manager/account manager you're assigned will also follow up with you on a regular cadence to ensure you're getting the most out of the subscription. There's not a whole lot of room to improve, other than the general confusion about what is/what is not covered in custom packages you're subscribed to. The initial purchase took much longer because of a package name changes and realignments of different modules into those packages.
Read full review We had an issue in my first year that took a long time to fix. The support guy was awesome, took screen shots, filled me in, was professional, but it just took so long. I do think that was an anomaly, but it certainly sticks out nonetheless. Beyond that, we've had pretty good support "relationships" with the reps. They're usually pretty prompt at getting back and quite knowledgeable. Just make sure you have your proxies updated, because that's always step 1!
Read full review In-Person Training There is limited amount of learning that can be completed in an in-person training available. In my opinion, the self-paced learning provided by Falcon portal is more useful over in-person training. The support from Falcon is great and useful to overcome difficulties, if any.
Read full review They are very well knowledgeable. They conducted a two day training session and they explained each and everything.
Read full review Online Training The training provided by Crowdstrike Falcon is complete in terms of the depth of technical knowledge and teaches the users about going through with the platform. There are lots of jargons for different tools that Crowdstrike Falcon has and this training teaches them all which helps in managing the platform better. Plus, the regular knowledge checks are also very helpful for the end user.
Read full review As an administrator, if I had a user who needed additional training, it was available. As an Administrator, the product was so easy I didn't need it
Read full review Implementation Rating Implementation from cloud ranger to Druva Data Resiliency Cloud platform was a seamless integration experience to upgrade the policies and license for continual backup/recovery support. This may be one of the best "set it and forget it" apps for backup solutions, that also allow notifications for failures etc...
Read full review Alternatives Considered CrowdStrike Falcon's cloud-native architecture gives it an edge in terms of scalability, ease of deployment, and real-time threat intelligence updates. Read full review Scalability We started very small with this product, only backing up key officers' laptops. After our initial experience, we found it very easy to scale up the product to all company laptops and expand into file servers, VMWare servers, and other production-level data, like Office 365 and Teams. We found the product very easy to scale while remaining intuitive and efficient to use.
Read full review Return on Investment Centralized resource management means we need less tools to do the same job. EDR data is massive and has to be factored into the overall cost of the product. You are exponentially punished for more devices. CS has allowed larger coverage over devices and has discovered massive pockets of no protections.
