Likelihood to Recommend Product is a great tool to serve as a central point to compile and document sox controls. This allows transparency across the team and teammates to edit and view progress. The tool also provides an interface that will make it easy for the internal audit team to track and compile control requests. I particularly like how it lets all of the control owners take ownership of their controls. I am currently exploring some of the advanced tools that support testing and the accuracy and completeness of our data, which i'm very excited to explore.
Read full review It's really good in ensuring all of our accounting/finance people are on the same page and knowing what work is outstanding, at what step in the process reconcs or checklists or at, if we're tracking on time, who may need some additional support, etc. It really does a great job of letting us know when accounts are out of balance and needs to be looked at again. Ensures we will be fully ready for audit and pass with flying colors.
Read full review Pros HighBond is great for managing requests, to do’s, and review notes HighBond is generally flexible with the configuration and terminology you can use. HighBond is a good tool for centralizing risks, controls, test plans, and procedures in a framework that allows you to standardize its usage. Read full review Provides a clear status of the month end close. Allows us to analyze tasks by team member and reassign as needed. It syncs with our ERP Netsuite to ensure balance sheet reconciliations can be tied out directly. It also connects with Slack to notify users of key deadlines and changes in review status for team tasks. Read full review Cons There’s a bit of a learning curve for reports Report structure is limited and so it forces you to pay for ‘impact reports’ instead of allowing customers to have more freedom in report design The dashboard lists every step in your business process (or area) instead of showing progress by phase. For example, if you want to know where you stand in a business process, it counts every step within the control (for ex. walkthrough, test plan, interim, final). So a process that has 10 controls will show you how many steps out of 40 are completed ( 10 x 4) which is not helpful. Analytics/robotics is not set up by default and you have to have them set up hosting for it (even if you already paid for the package). You cannot have customized dashboards automatically updated somewhere. You have to go into the reports module and double-click the report to run it. The storyboard feature is very limited and isn’t linked to the reports module as mentioned above. Once we change the status to Resolved, that should be sufficient. Make Resolved and Closed one and the same Read full review Likelihood to Renew It has proven to enhance our procedures with closing. It is an effective tool that I would recommend to create a more efficient closing procedure and get the team more aligned. It increases the accountability among the staff and helps to keep us on task and on time. It is easy to sign into and has reminder emails for tasks that are coming up or late.
Read full review Usability FloQast is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. The only reason I don't give it a 10 is that the Flux Analysis feature is not great in terms of getting the information into the system. Once it's in, fantastic! But some work is needed
Read full review Reliability and Availability We have only noticed a slight slow down in accessing FloQast on a couple of occasions (near the beginning of a month when many people were likely trying to get online to close their books). The issue has always resolved itself with three to five minutes, so it's never been a hinderance.
Read full review Performance FloQast's performance is great. The pages always load quickly, and reports are completed fast! I've never noticed any slowdown in our ERP from the interface with FloQast.
Read full review Support Rating HighBond by Galvanize support has some of the best and fastest support that I have experienced. Though we only contact them through emails, they were quick to provide insightful information about our problems. Whenever we email them about an issue, they would be able to reply in less than an hour, ready and prepared with useful solutions to address the issue.
Read full review They are rapid in their response. If they can't immediately offer a solution, they continue to keep in contact with you to let you know where they are in resolving your issues. The staff is friendly & speaks to you in layman's terms, not so high-tech that you can't understand
Read full review In-Person Training The FloQast team members are just so personable. FloQast has clearly done a great job hiring people who are not just good at what they do, but are also fun to work with! They have placed people in the right roles and the customer benefits from this. I have enjoyed every opportunity I've had to work with a FloQast team member on training.
Read full review Online Training The online training is good. But like all online, pre-recorded training, it is never quite as good as in-person or live training where one can ask questions or get clarification. That said, FloQast has an extensive training library and most of the time, if one finds they need help on a topic, it can be answered by going to the online training and watching appropriate recording.
Read full review Implementation Rating Initial setup is quite involved as there is a steep learning curve. Documentation and support are lacking. The default dashboard/reports are not sufficient and require customization and additional costs. Once setup, the data analysis automation saves a lot of time and manual effort for audit and support teams

Read full review Alternatives Considered Diligent Highbond stacks up somewhat poorly against our other tools. In addition to what was included above, we use some smaller tools that fulfill many of the gaps left by Diligent Highbond. We have since started to move away from Diligent Highbond.
Alteryx is better at processing data and their server tool can be used to publish results for review.
Read full review The User Interface and implementation were the key drivers for choosing FQ compared to BL. Our team was up in a matter of days or so it felt! Even if you didn't get properly trained in FQ, you could easily figure it out on your own, which was nice, especially for a large team.
