Expensify has been incredibly useful to me for many years. Considering I am using the free version, it's hard to find a better value! If your company does not have a good expense-capturing system, Expensify will save you hours on submitting reports. You can take a picture and toss the paper receipts right at the point of sale without worrying about losing them during your travels. If you have a small business, you can use it to track and organize regular expenses to make billable expenses and end-of-year taxes a whole lot easier.

The time and attendance time is really easy to use and allows for quick correction, sometimes due to the workload and the daily activities I've forgotten to clock out, or to register breaks, but every time you clock out regardless of the hour, Rippling will promptly to review my time card details and if something was not input correctly it will allow you to submit a correction from that same screen which it has work wonders for me on the job. Something that is not as convenient for me, is the fact that you can't choose the order on which the tabs are displayed on the main screen and there are some features that I don't really use as frequently for example the time off tab, and it's on top of some other tabs that I do use daily more than once a day, and I would like to have the option to have a custom display.

  • Submitting expenses. It's easy to enter an expense, choose a category, enter the dollar amount and submit it. That's about it.
  • Uploading receipts. You can send receipts to Expensify from your phone, or upload them from your computer.
  • Entering hours worked. It's simple to move from expenses over to timesheets to submit the hours that you've worked.

  • Rippling integrates with QuickBooks Online. As such, we no longer have to post our weekly payroll journal entry manually. The payroll journal entry syncs automatically from Rippling to QuickBooks Online weekly. This has helped saved our accounting department time.
  • The onboarding workflows in Rippling are terrific. We have been able to assign tasks to our team when we hire a new team member. This allows are staff to stay organized and it also helps ensure that all tasks are completed in advance of the new hires first day with the company.
  • We use the Rippling spend module to help manage corporate credit cards that are issued to staff members. When a staff member makes a purchase on their corporate card they receive a text message. Once the staff member receives the text message they reply to the text with a picture of the receipt and a memo describing the transaction. This process has helped alleviate the amount of admin time the accounting department spends on gathering receipts and information from card holders.
  • We really like the org chart since it can be accessed by all employees. This allows our staff to see who reports to who and what each employee's job title is. This allows for more effective lines of communication within the organization.

  • Being able to tie in our Empower 401(k) would be a great feature, if it doesn't already exist
  • Integrated support with Expensify would also be nice, if it doesn't already exist

We like using the tool and we receive positive feedback from employees and management who use the tool. It saves time and helps us concentrate on the value adding activities so we are very likely to keep using Expensify in the future

Rippling is the new wave of HRIS that cannot compare against others in the industry just due to the fact they are super user friendly!

Mobile works great, but let's be honest. It's just a photograph. Their OCR and human turk technology works great to scan that photo and enter the proper information. The web interface is decent and allows you to work with single expenses in great detail. What's missing is the ability to mass update expenses, and this sometimes hurts, especially if you're a heavy user of the system.

The overall usability for Rippling is great. I enjoy how easy the user interface is to navigate and how seamlessly it integrates with other platforms. The user interface makes it very easy to find what I am looking for and using it for multiple tasks. I enjoy using it for the single sign on feature and opening other platforms that we use for our enterprise resource planning software.

I like that the availability in using Rippling at any given time is useful to me. Getting on the site freely when I need gives me security of knowing that I can be in control of viewing health insurance and hours information. I have yet to get any errors in using the Rippling app.

Rippling's performance has been great, no errors or glitches yet so far. I am confident that Going from one page to the next and all its complexity usage does not lag or times out, it works effectively and efficiently. While using Rippling and other apps it does not tend to slow it down, works great. No complaints.

Our rep has been amazing. He has built custom reports for us that have been very time consuming and difficult. Our reps are also currently looking into new submission solutions for us that we are excited about. They came up with this and recommended it on their own without me complaining about an issue. They are about our success and are very excited about the product they offer.

Rippling has an excellent Support center full of articles that are easily searchable to find solutions to issues. If the articles are not able to help, customers are then able to chat with an associate to fix issues they are experiencing. There is little turnaround time to get a problem fixed and the customer service representatives are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Concur was a great product as well but Expensify offers the ability to quickly upload expenses and submit reports just the same. There is no free version with Concur, so for a small business that's interested in keeping costs down I would highly recommend Expensify.

Rippling would be preferred over greytHR due to flexibility and the inclusion of optimum scope for feature range compared to traditional HR and payroll functions. Whereas greytHR majorly deals with HR management and payroll, especially for Indian businesses, Rippling provides a more all-inclusive platform that comprises HR, IT management, and global payroll. Employee data and IT needs within the one-suit solution: Rippling can handle employee data, IT provisioning, and software access management and can automate onboard/offboard. It is beautiful for tech-oriented companies or remote and distributed teams. Although it would come cheap to businesses with a very narrow focus on HR in India, Rippling has an advantage over greytHR for more prominent companies with complete comprehensive needs with its scalability and global payroll features and also aspects of IT management integrated, all of which have allowed it to run so smoothly.

I can go on here and see all my hours and pto plus health benefits. I like to have the work handbook handy to refer to legal things. How to work my role within it's limits. Being able to put in my hours and view when they are approved is a huge benefit for me.

  • Our organization no longer spends countless hours per month orchestrating the consolidation of data (MS Excel, typically) into our general ledger.
  • Our accounting department is no longer tasked with making sure the correct individuals have approved submitted reports.
  • Our accountants have a much easier time coding the reports that have been submitted by users. For the most part, we rely on users to code their submissions to the correct accounts.
