Jotform vs. Salsa Engage

I like that it easily captures the data we need. There are calculator options, so it's best for our petty cash or overtime request, and the date options are best for our leave applications.

It has more features than Google or Microsoft Forms, which could make it a bit more complicated for those who have gotten used to the simplicity of both Google or Microsoft.

• I understand that jotform is a business but I wish you had a little higher capacity limits on the free version
• The paid versions are a little pricey. Would be great if it was not a reoccurring monthly charge but rather a one time fee for the paid versions.

I honestly have not used the support feature with Jotform. From what I can see when I look information up, everything I want to do something that I can't figure out myself it seems to not be a possible solution or edit that Jotform is currently capable of.

Support response has been swift and knowledgable, though not always the answer I've wanted. One huge design flaw is if I add a new Salesforce field to sync, Salsa Engage will not sync it unless it has changed since the last sync, requiring me to fake an update for an entire database or re-sync the whole enchilada. Better to recognize it's a new Salesforce field and perform the sync en masse.

Typeform is better hands down [in my opinion]. It's not even a comparison as [I feel] JotForm doesn't work properly and [from my experience I think] their support is very problematic. I would suggest using Typeform or using GravityForms as an alternative to JotForm. Whatever you do, [I feel you shouldn't] depend on JotForm for something that is important to your business or research project.

EveryAction is a lot cheaper, but Salsa has more featured with targeting certain elected officials/better text messaging strategies

• It saved me time. Within minutes I was able to create and share forms to collect demographic data.
• While struggling to use another software, I thought of Jotform and it was able to assist me with collating the data I had to confirm results previously obtained.
• I could not easily identify what new information was provided in a resubmission by a respondent.

• Our event participants are always maxed out and Engage allows them an easy way to sign up and participate.
