I have been very happy with this survey tool. If you aren't sure where to start, the survey templates provide a really helpful starting point, depending on the reason for your survey. I have found this tool works well for both short surveys, 6 to 8 questions and longer surveys of 15 or more questions. Introducing this survey tool has helped create efficiencies for our onboarding process and the exit process with employees.

Verint Enterprise Feedback Management

Verint is very well suited for the corporate enterprise market as it has sufficient granular permission controls, feature rich and scalable. Their pricing model is also very cost effective as it doesn't punish you for being successful (getting lots of submissions or responses). If you are considering Verint, you should ask very specific questions for functionality to make sure it is covered.

Pros

SoGoSurvey

  • SoGoSurvey makes it easy to create a survey even for the novice. I recently gave a spare license to a peer and they were able to easily develop a survey. I offered my help if she had any questions but she said that she'd definitely ask but "... I already love that I can change the answer format with the drop down. It's the best. "
  • Customer support. I 'chat' with support personnel when I need to use a feature I haven't used. They are always quick to respond and answer my questions thoroughly. I can get the complete chat via email for future reference as well.
  • Keeping clients up-to-date. SoGoSurvey regularly hosts free training and best practices webinars that keeps the basics at the forefront and shares best practices.
  • The canvas (survey metrics) is easy to create and very versatile in summarizing the survey results.

  • Providing users the ability to follow along a specific question example (eg. placeholder text in questions that users can see what the answer might look like)
  • Better media management and implementation (eg. placing images/videos/gifs/etc. as standalone assets in the survey)
  • Making the images added into a survey responsive to the screen they are being viewed on (eg. any images added to a survey do not adjust to the size of the screen, consequently showing up very small on mobile/tablet view)
  • Exporting the survey to Word looks horrible - we'd love if the survey could be exported the way it looks when live into a similar-looking Word document or template

Very easy to use. My only challenge was the features offered in their Plus package didn't offer everything I would have liked (e.g. branching). The other area for improvement would be to allow an easier transition between Tracking and Reports.

Overall usability is easy and while I have been using it for years and used to it, new users seem to be able to create surveys without any training or hand holding. Simply create a login and they can figure it out themselves quickly because of the intuitive nature of the layout.Verint could use to improve or update the user interface as it seems very dated visually.

In addition to that, my account representative checks in to offer assistance. SoGo also offers webinars to share best practices related to employee surveys, polls and customer experience surveys

Having worked in technical support many years ago myself, I can appreciate the level of service and quality of support offered by Verint. I find SoGoSurvey to be a powerful software and yet easy to use. Other software that I have used in the past would take a long time to build and edit and set up different logic. It was usually painful to make changes to surveys that were live. The distribution of surveys through anonymous channels was either missing or misleading. SoGoSurvey gives us the ability to design quickly, edit quickly and convert any survey into an anonymous survey.

  • Cost. The software is very reasonably priced when judged against its functionality. The cost and risk of deploying paper surveys, coupled with the additional time it would take to input the data before analysis, means we have a lot less to worry about, have saved time and money.
  • Data and reputation. Security of data is important to us. Using this software has enhanced our credibility with clients. We're serious about data security and this software shows that we are.
  • Ethics and reputation. We are also serious about achieving the highest ethical standards in research, and nothing in this software impedes our ability to meet these standards.
  • Speed. The online training, all of which has been 1-2-1, helped me get to grips with the software and deploy it quickly. The quality of training is very high indeed.
