  • Positive impact has been Taleo's been extremely reliable platform. It's never crashed on me.
  • Positive impact is that we've been able to use the basic features over a period of high growth with almost zero glitches, bugs, or performance inconsistencies.
  • Negative impact is length of time it takes to train a new daily user or an infrequent user.

  • Once Taleo is up and running at your organization you will see a ROI within your first hire. I was using a lot of outside vendors prior to using Taleo which typical cost me 20K per hire for an engineer. So it was clear to the CEO once I made my first hire using Taleo via a job posting or referral or sourcing method that the ATS was the way to go. He was quite pleased. Cut the vendor fees from 500K a year down to under 100K!

  • We were not good at tracking any numbers around recruiting so now this last year we have been able to set the benchmark that we now can work toward improving.
  • At any given time, we could not say how many open positions we had. Now we are able to keep track of that.
  • We do a much better job with communicating with candidates now, especially the ones not selected. This will help us maintain a better reputation and attract the candidates back for other jobs they may be a better fit for in the future.

  • The move to Transitions for our onboarding has been a lot of work to get both the technology and processess to align. Now that we are 5 months into it we are starting to see the benefits. I think it's creating a better experience for our candidates and it has helped us to keep managers aware of the status of their new recruits.
