What is QuickBooks Time?
QuickBooks Time (formerly TSheets) is a cloud-based time tracking and scheduling app that allows employees to clock in and out from the job site with the devices they’ve already got in their pockets. The vendor aims to help companies replace paper timesheets with accurate, electronic time data as well as make payroll and invoicing faster and less costly.
QuickBooks Time also accurately tracks time and GPS points (even without cell or internet service) then automatically syncs when back in service, making it a better (and cheaper) alternative to geofencing.
The Who’s Working” feature enables companies to see where employees are located and who’s working on what in real time. QuickBooks Time also features in-app scheduling that allows users to drag and drop shifts, assign jobs, see who’s working at a glance, and send alerts to managers if employees haven’t clocked in for a job or shift as scheduled.
The vendor offers free unlimited phone, email, and chat support to all customers.

- Due to the accuracy that the platform causes in the development of employee payroll reports, we can say that it has been good in improving our profits, since some employees even work better.

TSheets lacking IT customer service
- Their phone app is very user friendly.
- If you need to change or update the app specific for your companies needs be prepared to have patience with them to figure it out.
- The IT turn times are the most needed area for them to improve on, since it directly affects our payroll.

Great Program For Offices With Remote Staff
- Helps to ensure that employees are being held accountable for their clocked in time and allows us to clock them out if we see they're not where they say they are, saving us money.
- Decreases time our staffing coordinator has to spend on inputting times after events - when managers can clock staff in and out during the event, it allows our staffing coordinator to use their office time more effectively.

Accessible EVERYWHERE! User-Friendly and Streamlines Payroll!
- We're solving issues with challenging properties that are sucking up a lot of our time but before TSheets it was hard to keep track of exact hours. However, now we can show exactly how many times we've showed it or had maintenance issues at the property. That way we have proof of exactly how often we're at that location in comparison to the other properties we manage. Then we can bill the owner for additional time and attention to that property.
- The accessibility of TSheets helps to streamline the accounting portion. People don't have to "write down" where they are all the time. They can simply log in, punch into a location, and switch to the next as needed.
- The only negative impact it has on the business is the time the Accountant has to take to correct/revise a person's timesheet. As I mentioned, users have the ability to edit their own punches (if allowed by admin) but when they take away permissions it makes it a lot harder on everyone.

TSheets has more than met our needs!
- TSheets has definitely reduced the time that it takes for us to generate our monthly invoices and as a result our cash flow from those invoices is expedited.
- TSheets' ease of use allows our "billable" employees to focus their time on revenue generating business and minimize administrative time.
- Since I receive very infrequent questions from employees concerning TSheets (questions on how to use, functionality, etc.) I know the software is not resulting in employee frustration and exasperation.

- Invoicing to clients is 10x easier. You don't have to sort through timesheets, since it can all easily run through TSheets
- TSheets offers geotracking, so you can make sure your employees are actually at job sites when clocking in
- TSheets also has helpful reporting and graphs to see where your employees are spending all of their time.

TSheets is the Last Time Sheet you ever Need!
- employees may not like being tracked by GPS. But the Employers do.
- all employees need a smartphone or tablet with internet access to enter time. While they do have a dial-up phone option, that isn't always an option in some areas.
