Overall Satisfaction with Raiser's Edge NXT

Raiser's Edge NXT is used within the fundraising department of our organization. It is most helpful for the fundraisers for the organization. It is helpful with quick record updates and viewing, simple lists and reports. It is web-based so it is accessible from anywhere. It helps those traveling for work.

This is the only database I have used that is web-based connected to a classic database version. You must have Raisers Edge classic to have RENXT so it is an investment and commitment to your fundraising efforts. The interface is very helpful for prospect/portfolio management and has really streamlined our process.
NXT is very helpful for those that are fundraising and need to take notes or look up a record. It is not helpful for the data/advancement services teams as you are unable to batch gifts, pull mailing lists, create complicated queries/reports. The interface is easy to use so training is quick, where The Raisers Edge Classic Database is a little more complicated and takes longer to train.
