Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Virtual Office

Used across the whole business. A cloud-based system is appropriate as some users work remotely. We've been using 8x8 for about 4 months. The ability to take calls on mobile is important.
  • Ability to use it on a variety of devices, desk phone, mobile phone, and desktop/laptop computer.
  • Flexibility to easily relocate users, on and off site.
  • Most features do seem to just work.
  • Commissioning support was excellent, with a dedicated technician.
  • Not really found out yet. There are some things that we would like to be different, e.g ring tone on mobile. It's not obvious how to do it, but we haven't asked for help yet.
  • Alternative systems would have been higher cost.
The previous hosted system was discontinued. 8x8 selected primarily for the cost to achieve the functionality we needed. Some features, e.g. the desktop application were a bonus.
The ability for workers who are not desk-bound to take calls on their mobile phone. Have not found any cons yet.
