Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign
I was working on a freelance marketing campaign for a client, and they were just getting started with ActiveCampaign. I had not used it before but figured I could learn since I have used other software similar to this. Once they were able to build their database of emails, we started an email campaign. It was somewhat easy to set up but some of the additional features like A/B testing and automated responses were not as easy as they should have been to set up. I needed to get some tech help from ActiveCampaign, and it ended up working. The campaign was mildly successful, but that was not the fault of the software. I do wish some of the automated tools were more straightforward.
- Manage email addresses
- Automated process
- Email blasts
- Making the automated process more straight forward
- Simplifying tools
- No need to complicate things that are simple
- Too pricy
- Not cost effective if not using it all the time
I find Mailchimp easier and more efficient to use and more affordable. Mailchimp does a great job with great tools and does everything I need that active campaign does and a much better price. If this company hadn't already started using active campaign I would have recommended Mailchimp. I am still willing to learn more about Active campaign and will give it another try.
