ActivTrak is Worth the Time and Effort To Improve Productivity and Accountability
Overall Satisfaction with ActivTrak
Productivity measures for remote workers. In the advent of COVID, we needed eyes on our employees and to maintain needed efficiency and productivity levels. Since that time, it has become more institutionalized and added to our metrics to measure by employee, team, division and company as a whole. It was disclosed to everyone for transparency and awareness.
Pros
- Offers substantial detail to establish layers of analysis
- Ability to adjust based on business needs - authorized vs unauthorized sites
- Good level of accuracy
Cons
- More frequent user training/update calls/meetings
- Positive - helps sustain productivity and efficiencies
- Positive - adds a good management tool for managers/supervisors
- Multi Level drill down - from the top to the front line with all of the data; this paints a much more detailed picture of how employees are using their time and with what systems/applications. This helps identify issues and also training gaps. As employees are involved in the process, they can share/compare what they are doing differently to assist those that are not having as much success.
Without ActivTrak, you are blind to how employees are spending their time, especially if a remote employee. It should engage the employee and their manager/supervisor on a more frequent basis to discuss workload and productivity, along with any roadblocks needed to be addressed by both to improve results.
It is used in tandem with other reporting that is pulled from in-house resources and technology.
