Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We use Acumatica for accounting and CRM. We use expense receipt recognition and also the recognition for bills through incoming docs. We heavily rely on the compliance management piece for our subcontractors (vendors). The project accounting piece has helped me know what our true earned revenue is. Dashboards are a huge tool for our leadership team in looking at the health of the company and urgent things that need to be addressed. Our negative cash flow has drastically reduced. Acumatica has resolved our paper approval of bills, and paper receipt submittal and relieved us of manual data entry. Acumatica has also allowed the field Project Managers to access data while in the field and real-time profitability of their projects. There is so much more Acumatica has allowed us to do!

Cons
- The Mobile Application could use improvement for Project Visibility and editing bills or receipts during the approval process.
- User-friendliness of automated emails or reports, there are SEVERAL areas that need to be touched to set something up, and when needing to make a small change, or set a new one up, it's difficult to navigate.
- Reclassification of transactions could improve, reclasses are very restricted. Also, the visibility that a transaction has already been reclassed needs to be heightened!
- Individual expense receipt entry needs to allow for split expenses. For example, there is only an option to put one GL account to it or one project into it, we'd like to have the ability to split out the one purchase on multiple projects or GL accounts. This is different than expense claims.
- Expense receipt entry needs to allow for returns as well!
- AP Recognition in incoming docs of what it recognizes needs some help. Some could be unique to our business. For example, the AP recognition picks up the due date from the invoice, and will override the due date on a bill in Acumatica to what was on the bill image, but doesn't agree with the terms in which we pay, which results in early payments.
- Reduced negative cash flow on projects.
- Safe guards on collections to help with lien rights on projects.
- Ability to measure goals on certain Sales Service Lines and have visibility of those!
Acumatica provided the most "yeses" to our wishlist. Acumatica also had the ability to customize to fit our needs whereas a lot of the other options could not. Acumatica was not priced on a "per user" model, which was very important to us, allowing us to have all the field users have access to data without hurting us. Acumatica appeared to have the most resources in working on its product in comparison to the other choices.
