Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Campaign

Photobox Group is using Adobe Campaign as an Enterprise Marketing Platform to manage cross channel marketing for multiple brands (PhotoBox, Moonpig, and Hoffman). In a year, we send more than 2 billion communications via Adobe Campaign for more than 13 business units. Adobe Campaign helped us to deliver the right communication at the right time to the right customer segments, at scale.

Adobe Campaign is used for multiple CRM activities, like triggered campaigns, newsletters, real-time campaigns, and service emails. It's doing an excellent job. We can track the communication history of a user in a single screen which helps us understand our user behaviour and segment them for future campaigns.
  • The application gives you the flexibility to integrate easily with various Adobe products as well as third-party products. For example, you can connect to AEM, Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
  • Robust tracking capabilities.
  • Strong Workflow engine to deliver 1-1 personalisation with ease.
  • Option to setup remarking and drip campaigns with ease.
  • Old interface. Adobe Campaign is a developer friendly but lacks a modern, intuitive look.
  • Adobe customer support is not very helpful. Adobe should invest more to have knowledgeable folks at the other end.
  • Adobe should invest more to improve Adobe Campaign classic product. Adobe is doing an excellent job by offering extra features in Adobe Campaign Standard every quarter but not so much in Classic.
Adobe Campaign offers unmatched customisation, heaps of features, multiple integrations with third-party databases like REDSHIFT, Hadoop, MYSQL, Oracle, Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Dynamics etc.
At the same time, it's interface is not very intuitive and user-friendly. Adobe can certainly work on it. I have worked on multiple marketing automation tools but the functionality offered by Adobe Campaign is unmatched, but you need to hire an outstanding tech team to use them effectively at scale.
Adobe Campaign is suitable for medium to large-sized companies. If you have the right team, Adobe Campaign offers a huge opportunity to customise your instance and have your campaigns meet any business requirements. This software is less suited to smaller companies or companies with smaller marketing teams that send honest communications and don't need a lot of customisation. To utilise Adobe Campaign to it's fullest the application requires experienced developers and can be hard for new users to learn.
