Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate

I use Adobe Captivate to develop interactive courseware for courses that assist Airmen in getting qualified in their respective career fields for the Air Force. The software has proven to not be very intuitive and requires a large amount of programming capabilities in order to get it to function. We have found that the responsive aspect actually makes development more difficult, especially when utilizing the fluid boxes. It can also be rather glitchy when uploading in SCORM files. Due to security requirements we cannot use the associated assets due access issues.
  • The power of the software is very robust for the use of 360 photos.
  • It allows for more complex development.
  • It can easily be uploaded to any LMS.
  • The software is glitchy.
  • It it less intuitive to learn for novice users.
  • Requires more understanding of coding to get it to function.
  • Ease of upload.
  • Robust capability for more complex development.
  • Integration with other Adobe products.
  • Time for development takes longer than other course authoring tools.
