Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Experience Manager

Currently, use AEM to manage all our corporate web pages and as a central content management system. It enables us to quickly build and maintain our websites, share content with customers and partners, and enable our entire digital customer journey. We also integrate other Adobe products, such as Adobe Analytics, for an easy-to-use ecosystem.

Pros

  • Easy to use.
  • Great UX.
  • Integrates into other products/services.
  • Works seamlessly with other Adobe products.

Cons

  • Out of the box components could be better.
  • Easier to view analytics on DAM assets.
  • Certain specific features, like enabling multiple assets, could be easier.
  • Enables us to build world class websites.
  • These websites drive growth in terms of revenue.
  • The sites help us educate and retain customers.
  • Allows us to rank higher in SEO so we own the narrative of our products.
Pretty easy to use and learn. Lots of great features that could make it more complex, but there are great resources to help navigate usage given it’s so widely adopted. I have used this at two different companies now, and it’s proven to be very effective in managing both brands' digital presence.
  • Digital asset management integration.
  • Easily integrates into Adobe Analytics.
  • Some out of the box features.
  • Options for class UI, or simplified.
I can’t even compare. You pay for what you get, and Adobe has a wealth of knowledge and features that separate it from its competitors. All their products easily integrate and support their ecosystem.

When it comes to maintaining and managing content and multiple web pages, it’s a fantastic tool that’s relatively easy to use. It is very intuitive and has a lot of great features for beginners, and can be customized for robust features. It may not be best suited for small companies with very simple websites, given the cost.
