Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

WFN is used by our entire non-profit, including timesheets and payroll. It allows us to allocate each employee's payroll across the group homes we operate, and to provide documentation for billing clients under the State of New Jersey's fee for service model. It also allows management to access data and process payroll remotely, which is a blessing when we're stuck at home during inevitable winter storms on our payroll processing day.
  • Ease of downloading journal entry to record payroll.
  • Ease of producing reports by location for bill preparation.
  • Improve ad-hoc reporting.
  • Allow adjustable time-out before logging out user.
  • Automated processing timesheets into payroll into general ledger, saving a lot of time for a very small admin staff.
  • Ease of producing billing data for fee for service clients, who were 10% of our clients and are now 100%.
The WFN set-up has allowed us to expand our use both in terms of the number of employees using the platform and in adding functionality as we needed to. We had a bad experience with one implementation representative, who apparently didn't do the work to get our new application up and running, but when she was replaced the new representative moved quickly to get us up and running.
WFN is strong when employees work across multiple programs or departments. Between department and client codes, it provides enough granularity to record program expenses and client billables. It is also strong in helping to automate mundane functions like creating journal entries to record payroll expenses. It would be too much program for companies with fairly basic payroll/accounting functions.
