Overall Satisfaction with Amplitude Analytics
Amplitude Analytics provides me with valuable insights into system performance and customer activities inside of our Platform; I use it to better understand customer health and breadth of use, to ensure they are using the most up to date software version of both our application and their device operating system, what device manufacturers are used, and application responsiveness to help head off any issues.
- Very easy to share analytics with multiple team members
- Easy to customize analytics without coding knowledge
- Easy to standardize a set of dashboards across an organization
- It might be me, but I cannot distinguish between some things like upload/download speed when it comes to syncronization
- It is occasionally possible to save over something when trying to instead save as a new chart -- and the interface between pages and dashboards can be a little confusing -- so I think the UI is straightforward, but not the most clear to a new creator
- Standardization
- Automation
- Ease of Use
- Very real time savings
- Better customer use understanding
- Ability to redirect time and effort elsewhere
I would say it's largely different; Looker was able to be embedded directly into the platform and was valuable for people creating their own dashboards whereas Amplitude is more valuable for understanding usage, performance, and health of the platform itself -- more for focusing on data not exposed to an end user. In this respect, I think they are both valuable and different solutions.
