Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis HR

Knowledgeable and responsive in payroll and HR. Combined team and assigned support works well. HR implementation [was] fantastic and payroll and tax support are below average.
[It's being used for] human resources, payroll and manager/employee self-service.

  • Payroll system is ancient and report writer is really bad in the payroll module
  • Manager and employee self-service works pretty well and has saved HR time
  • Benefits EDI files and admin very good eliminating EDI issues of previous system
  • Cost for the product was extremely competitive for what you get on the HR/benefits side
Benefits have worked better with more flexibility. In general, the HR system allows you more options that you can change than the larger providers. Very flexible working with other payroll providers which is not the same for some of the other systems that I have used.
HR implementation was fantastic
  • 0-500 employees.
  • Larger would most likely want a better looking user interface.
  • HR only where payroll is done by another provider.
