Overall Satisfaction with Atlassian Confluence

We used Atlassian Confluence as a collaboration tool across the various departments. It brings teams together when you have departments scattered around and each department is working on different projects that all tie into one solution. The blogs and page templates make it convenient for others to review or pass along information that other teams or individuals did not think of.
  • Unlimited individual wiki pages is a great feature when you have a large organization.
  • Document conversion
  • Permissions setting permissions on individual or team spaces to only allow access to those that need it.
  • It would be nice to have new features and enhancements for true power users.
  • There is a pain point of managing content in Confluence.
  • Increased productivity by being able to collaborate efficiently with other teams.
  • Helps to provide better customer service with its individual and team wiki pages.
Atlassian Confluence does a decent job and excels in areas that other similar products don't such as editing, document conversions, and administration.
As a collaboration tools Atlassian Confluence offers a lot of features for users of this product. Some questions you can ask yourself are:
How often do program updates go out? Is there a guarantee of satisfaction with their solution? Is Atlassian Confluence scalable? What are the typical risks that you can expect with your planned installation?
