Overall Satisfaction with Avalara AvaTax

Avalara AvaTax is being used by our Accounting department as the main way of outsourcing sales tax calculations, filings, and compliance. It also integrates well with Netsuite, which we use for our ERP system.

Full integration -- it was pretty easy to achieve, esp. with Netsuite.
It's pretty user-friendly, but the interface does take some training.
We have definitely benefited from managed returns filing because we no longer have to worry about submitting the filings on time or checking the filings for errors.
Avalara AvaTax is well suited for a larger company that is creating large quantities of taxable sales transactions and wants a more automated and accurate way of charging and filing sales taxes. It's less appropriate for a small business as the pricing might not justify the needs.
