Overall Satisfaction with AVI-SPL

I have worked with AVI-SPL over the years, so when I was approached by our CEO to scope a project out for digital signage at our 15 clinics, I knew exactly where to go. AVI-SPL quickly assigned us a project manager, and we were off to the races. They delivered on-time, in-scope, and on budget. Their installers communicated well with me to let me know exactly when they'd be on site to hang the TV's. AVI-SPL also handled the sale and communication with the cloud based company we use to distribute content to the TV's. All in all, it was a very successful deployment.
  • Their scoping documentation is very thorough.
  • They handle changes to equipment easily.
  • They communicate well during all phases of the deployment.
  • They could improve a bit on warranty returns. I had to deal directly with the TV manufacturer when a TV arrived damaged.
  • The digital signage project has been a great success for our patients, as we deliver location-relevant information to them as they wait in our lobbies.
  • The conference room scheduling displays they installed outside our conference rooms have dramatically reduced double-bookings and making employees have to dig through multiple Outlook calendars to see when or if a room is available.
When I needed support, AVI-SPL was pretty responsive. I had to dongrade them a bit as once I spoke to them about my problem (TV damaged in shipping), I was told I had contact the TV manufacturer directly to arrange a replacement. I was hoping for the money we paid, they would handle the replacement. Other than that, their support has always been great since I started using them in 2010.

If you need Crestron work done, this is the company to use. They did all the work in our 37,000 square foot HQ including 6 conference rooms and our boardroom. They setup room reservation panels that integrated with our Exchange server, and multiple motorized projector setups with accompanying rack audio stations.
I also had them deploy digital signage televisions across 15 clinics. They handled everything from ordering the TV's and securing the software licensing for the content delivery system, to going to each clinic and installing the TV's and getting them on WiFi to grab the content. It was a great experience.

Using AVI-SPL
