Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
We use BigCommerce as our eCommerce platform. Mostly we sell books, booklets, Audio and digital products, DVDs, and magazines. We produce most of the products we sell, but we resell other's products too. We also are able to use BigCommerce in a limited way to serve business-to-business customers who resell our products or purchase for large groups or organizations.
Pros
- BigCommerce is user-friendly and allows nontechnical employees to manage product pages, create categories, and make promo codes.
- We like the ability to sell Gift Certificates, but are still in the testing phases. We're excited to see how this improves sales.
- Customer service is responsive, and we have a dedicated account manager we meet with via phone weekly.
Cons
- BigCommerce's native review function has been troublesome since the start. We can't get it to work as it should and have had tickets in to fix. I'd like to use it, but have been told to check out third-party apps that may work better.
- We had to use Webkul to integrate with Salesforce. I would have liked the integration options to be stronger with Salesforce.
- Broken captcha on reviews turns away customers since they can't leave feedback.
- We recently experienced fraud, and it would have been good to have some alerts in place -- this is something I need to investigate more.
$1 to $10 million
We use the MailChimp integration. I would need to check with our product manager for more details related to this topic.
