Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
We use BigCommerce for our website which mainly markets medieval-style clothing, as well as swords, armor, and other items. It is our main online sales platform these days as we found that eBay went into a sharp decline a few years ago, but our BigCommerce site has remained effective.
- Excellent technical support - It's great to have that professional powerful back-up.
- We do very well in Google - We really think BigCommerce has helped with this!
- The templates are relatively easy to use, and it's not hard to find experienced site builders who know their way around the BigCommerce software.
- It's expensive - But then, I suppose you get what you pay for.
- It's hard to say what life would be like without BigCommerce as I have never really used another platform. Initially I was on Magento, then about 5 years ago Magento closed, they pushed me onto BigCommerce for the same monthly fees, who seemed to work a lot better (fewer bugs in the programs, more professional technical support), but then a couple of years later BigCommerce massively upped their fees, and I ended up paying three times more for exactly the same service! It would have been too hard to have changed my site over to another company by then, so I was stuck. That, however, was a few years back - and at least BigCommerce has been consistently good since then.
$100,000 to $500,000
We don't use that many APIs etc but they do integrate smoothly for the most part.
We've only ever used Magneto and they passed us onto BigCommerce some years ago.
