Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce

BigCommerce is our primary online store and is used throughout our organisation for sales, marketing, fulfillment and accounting. It basically runs our entire organisation.

Whilst it satisfies the majority of our needs, we have experienced difficulties in having features customised to scale certain aspects of our business. Support has not been great in this area, with the usual response of "you need to contact an approved third party BigCommerce partner to help with this."
We integrate BigCommerce with Google and Facebook advertising platforms for reporting and tracking sales conversions. This feature works well.
At the time, cost of ownership was important to us and BigCommerce provided the best balance of features / user friendliness / value for money. To be honest, knowing what we know today, we would have gone with Shopify instead.
BigCommerce satisfies the majority of our needs as a small business. However, as we grow, we are starting to see deficiencies in some areas, particularly in the ability to customise features and having to rely on third party developers to do this for us.
