Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

We utilize RE NXT for all our donor database needs, including reporting, data collection, and data entry. We are a smaller organization and use it at a smaller capacity.

  • Reporting functionalities - Needs to be more robust.
  • Duplicates - It creates duplicates often.
  • Tagging - I wish there was a tagging feature.

  • Production time is faster.
It has provided us new addresses and caught duplicates in our system.

The training was way too long and provided an unnecessary amount of information.
I would say the other products were easier to use, could manipulate reports more, and were more robust for a small shop.

I think RE NXT is more suited for larger organizations. I don't think it is the best fit for a smaller organization that doesn't have a ton of data. It is better for those who don't need to manipulate their reports in massive ways.
