Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT allows our department to manage donor data from donations to contact information to actions. The easy-to-use reports give us an up-to-the-moment snapshot of our campaigns and funds. As a team of 4, the time we have is limited and the built in reporting, ease of data entry, and the quick-build forms and events allow us to utilize our time most efficiently.

Tech issues sometimes take a while to resolve. Usually these are minor glitches that are annoying and do not harm functionality
It is not as easy to pull a detailed list as it is in the traditional database view of Raiser's Edge

With donation form designer and event designer, we are able to seamlessly track donations and event tickets. As they are integrated into Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, batching and processing is easy.

Data Intelligence

We are working towards using the data and analytics provided by Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT. At this time, we do take a look at the wealth screen to determine the gift ask for donors. As we are still learning the product, we do not use, at this time, more of the data and analytics provided by Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT.

The instructors Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT has for their online training are very knowledgeble. The classes flow smoothly and instructors answer questions in a thorough manner. Frequently, after class ends, the instructors provide more resources on a topic or question asked during the session. Many also offer their contact information in case more questions arise after class time.

The way Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT has now filtered training into different tracts depending on your job role also makes it very easy to find further education on a subject or task.

My one "negative" for the online training is that sessions are offered sporadically. If I can't make a "Power Automate" class this week, I might have to wait two months until it is offered again.

If your organization has folks who aren't as computer savvy or just do not have the time to work in a database, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT is the way to go. A lot of the functions are very simple to use and the user interface is clean and easy. There is some data that is harder to pull from Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT as opposed to web view: looking for detailed lists with total giving and adding additional parameters to exports is not something you can do in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT.
