Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine
NSK uses BlackLine across our Americas region (US, Canada & Mexico) to handle account reconciliations and month-end, quarter-end and year-end task management. It has become a critical part of our accounting journey. The ability to set policy and procedure and require all locations to follow agreed templates brings transparency and clarity to our balance sheet. It has also become a vital part of our audit procedures as we have granted auditor access to both internal and external auditors, allowing them to be more self sufficient in their process and less burdensome on our F&A team.

- Being an Oracle shop, we'd like to see a it more native integration with EBS.
- Removal of binders full of paper reconciliations and massive spreadsheets to track them.

- Clarity in the close process and visibility into where we are that process.
Our initial implementation of a solution in this space was with Trintech. It is also a very useful toolkit and automated our reconciliation and task management. There was also initially a substantial financial benefit to beginning with them. As we grew into the solution and began investigating a renewal, other players, including BlackLine, became far more competitive financially and we viewed the GUI to be a step up from what we had.
