Overall Satisfaction with BrightEdge
We use BrightEdge to audit our clients' search performance, identify opportunities and develop strategies to improve that performance, and to execute tactical changes as part of supporting those strategies.
- Keyword opportunity analysis
- Competitive analysis
- Recommendations & task management
- Quick Google Search Console and Analytics integration.
- Filter states not always remembered when making changes to keyword lists. Pages reload and you often have to re-filter.
- Pricing is relatively opaque. No published price point/features list, but at the enterprise level I understand how custom things can be.
- Adobe Analytics integration can take some time to put in place, so plan ahead.
- It has been a great investment for our teams. We have created demonstrable ROI for our clients from content investment and have proven time and again that investment in content and optimization for organic search is the lowest cost and highest-longevity investment they can make in their marketing over time. It's not the only channel to invest in, but it's foundational and generally produces the best ROI. BrightEdge has been core to our success in this area.
Both are good tools. The biggest difference comes in your needs. Like I said earlier, BrightEdge is an enterprise tools and has the features set to support that. Moz is a consumer product and it a great place to start, but the analytics integration, tracking, reporting available in BrightEdge are far more developed. BrightEdge's support will be much fuller-fledged and you won't need to work as hard to connect the dots about what to do next.
