Overall Satisfaction with Broadvoice

Broadvoice modernized my office. I can now answer my office phone anywhere and have superior call, fax and voice mail records in my history. My business is seasonal and I previously would be chained to the desk in my office under an antiquated system, even when I was not busy in my office. Now I have static IP phones at two residences that connect via intercom to my office and can make outgoing calls and field incoming calls remotely, while it appears to my clients' caller ID that I am actually in the office. When I miss calls or when I lose a phone number, the historic call log that I can access online has been invaluable. I also receive a lot of spam calls at my office and the spam filter allows me to ignore repeat sales calls, which keeps my administrative staff more productive. Lastly, I get all of my front desk voicemails and my own desk voicemails e-mailed to my work e-mail, so I can easily listen to my messages anywhere. They also keep them stored in my outlook cloud forever, in case I need to refer back to them.

It is perfect for small businesses like mine. I can see that it would work well even in a scaled environment. I do believe one of the limitations is for some of my older staff. They find it hard to put calls and retrieve them from park, as well as transferring calls. If you use this phone system regularly it is easy to learn and keep up with, but if you use it rarely it may want you reaching for an old rotary phone.

Similarly, if you are app and web savvy this product can be fully realized. If you were not planning on use the website or App, then you wouldn't be realizing the full value of the system.

The app is great, but it tends to accidentally call my clients in the middle of the night, so it can be touchy. However, being able to screen calls that my administrative staff receives while I am out of the office is great. I can make sure no one is missed.
