Overall Satisfaction with Calendly

I use Calendly to schedule everything for my business, from coaching sessions to prospect meetings to client consultations. It is a set-it-and-forget-it proposition: the other party finds a time on my schedule (always up to date because it's synced with my Mac calendar) that works for them; Calendly does the rest, including sending them a Zoom invite for the session. My time savings are astronomical because I am typically booked six months in advance.
  • Sync with multiple calendar types so my schedule is always current.
  • Integration with Zoom to schedule meetings, send invites, and populate my Zoom app accordingly.
  • Automatic email communication to all parties with all relevant details in a clear format.
  • Allowing team members to do the same in a way that I'm also notified of what meetings are taking place saves a lot of time in terms of coordinating to find out what other people are doing.
  • Well-designed interface that simplifies everything down to its clearest expression. Language instruction and interaction are wonderfully simple and clear.
  • My only criticism is that when accessing it from a mobile browser, the time input controls (when setting availability) don't use typical mobile controls; they're open text fields. So, instead of a pick list like most phone apps use, I must type in all numbers. The caveat to this is that I probably should be using the Calendly mobile app to do this, but I am not.
  • I'd venture to say that it's given me at least 30% of every workday (if not more) back to me. Instead of having to send invites manually, email back and forth with people to figure out schedules and confirm dates, etc...it's just done. WITHOUT my intervention. I share a link to my Calendly, and I'm done — less than 60 seconds of my time each time.
  • I also think it reflects positively on me: if coordinating with someone is hard to do, you are left with the impression that they're hard to work with. So, if I'm easy to coordinate with, I think the impression Calendly leaves is that Joe Natoli is just as easy to work with.
Everything I've said previously. It takes me entirely out of the loop of coordinating people's schedules, sending invites, booking time, ensuring they get a Zoom invite, etc. It does everything while I do next to nothing, which is as it should be. As a team of one, my time should be spent doing what I do best and getting paid to do: coaching, teaching, consulting, speaking, writing, and creating training content and workshops.

Do you think Calendly delivers good value for the price?

Are you happy with Calendly's feature set?

Yes

Did Calendly live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Calendly go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Calendly again?

Yes

Top echo what I said at the beginning; it's perfect for everything I do because they all involve coordination with other people: clients, students, team members, and prospects. The one thing in my business that I have the least amount of time or aptitude for is the thing that it does best: logistical coordination. It's no stretch to say that Calendly's scheduling and coordinating simplicity is a godsend.
