Overall Satisfaction with CaptivateIQ

We use it to calculate the commissions of sales and customer success teams.
We needed a better SOR for this problem and the Excel Sheet used previously was inadequate.

  • Manual Adjustments have an impact on the calculated commission
  • The input model is similar to that of an Excel sheet
  • Hard to follow one particular deal trough all the pages and features
  • We had a lost of 5 figures due to the incorrect parametrization of the platform.

Only if your commission plan is simple and straightforward, implementing the model on the system is not the easiest in the world. In our case we made several mistakes and it was not easy to spot/solve them. Special mention to manual adjustments that just made the full calculus wrong and we had to switch back to Excel.
